Cecil Oliver Womac, age 82, of Riceville, died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Sterling Oliver and Esther Melton Womac. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elberta Sue Martin Womac, a sister, Doris Jane Brock, a brother, James Womac and a brother-in-law, Dewey Wilson.
Cecil was formerly associated with the Athens Stove Works before retiring from Bowater Southern.
He truly enjoyed farming and making a garden.

grandson, Taylor Womac and wife, Jessica, granddaughter, Brittany Womac
great granddaughter, Lilly Arwood, great grandson, Ryker Womac
Two sisters, Ruth Wilson and Jean Rogers-Horrocks and husband, Joe and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastanalee Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Womac, Kevin Brock, Mark Kettenbeil, Doug Burrell, Bobby Harmon and Scott Etie.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 5 PM – 8 PM at Ziegler Funeral Home.
