DARYL LYNN ORR

Daryl Lynn Orr, age 61, of Athens, passed away Friday, May 25, 201, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late Howard and Sybil Riden Orr and was preceded in death by two brothers, David Orr and Timothy Orr. He served in the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Mary Smith Orr of Athens

One sister, Jacqueline Hayes of Athens

One brother, Edward Orr of Etowah

Several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Daryl’s life will be 2 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends 12 pm - 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
