Imogene Russell Raper
Went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2019
At the home of her sister, Mildred Coleman.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Lillie Walker Russell and was preceded in death by her husband, Alf Raper; three sisters, Wanda Cate, Marie Nichols, and Mae Watson. She retired from Robinson Enterprises and was a member of Riceville Church of God. She dedicated her life to helping others in need.

Staci Wilson of Athens
Kim Goenner of Athens
Allen Roberts of Athens
Jim Richardson of Chattanooga
Scott Coleman of Charlotte, NC.
Several great nieces, nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Thomas officiating. Burial will be 4 pm Thursday in Sunrise Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Jim Richardson, Scott Coleman, Thomas Wilson II, Carey Hicks and D.J. Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Kennedy, Jeremiah Harmon.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home.
