James W. “Jim” Huff, age 79, of Athens, died Friday, October 18, 2019, at Parkwest Medical Center.
Jim was a born in Ten Mile to the late Hubert and Bonnie Harrison Huff. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Hughes Huff and his second wife, Ann Rollins Huff. Also preceding him in death is his daughter, Linda Staggs, and two sisters, Wilma Ballew and Joyce Powell.
Jim was a 1959 graduate of Meigs County High School and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Early in his career, Jim worked with Miller Concrete Company. He later owned and operated the Riceville Motel and then owned and operated Sparkle Service Center until his retirement.
Jim is survived by his wife, Malinee Wisai Huff, of Athens

Sister, Bernice Woody of Ten Mile
Grandson, Justin Jolley of Athens
Stepson, Billy Rollins Jr and stepdaughter Lisa Decker
Along with several other extended family members, a host of loyal customers and friends
Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Monday at Ziegler Funeral Home with Brother Curtis Porter officiating.
Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ten Mile.
The family will receive friends 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday prior to the service at Ziegler Funeral Home.
