JEREMIAH JOSHUA GUFFEY

Jeremiah Joshua Guffey, age 35, of Athens, passed away

Friday, November 22, 2019 at Starr Regional Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was preceded in death by

His maternal grandmother; Mildred Anderson and paternal grandparents George and Ruby Guffey.  Jeremiah loved computer gaming, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:

Mother; Melinda Anderson Smallen of Niota

Father; Teddy E. Guffey of Athens

A Brother; Justin Smallen of Niota   

Paternal Grandfather; Roy Anderson

Uncles and Aunts; John and Paula Guffey, Ricky Guffy, Sandy Aken, and Roy Anderson, Jr.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Monday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home.

Burial will be 11 am Tuesday in McMinn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
