At NHC Healthcare of Athens

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Mary Lou White Wilson and was preceded in death by an infant brother, Donald Wilson.  She had attended TWC and earned her degree in Business Education and later earned her degree in Special Education having taught Special Ed in Texas. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law,

   Jennifer and Chad Burk of Jupiter, FL.

One son,

   Tony Dobson of Athens

One grandson, Zachary Burk

Two sisters: Cathy Key and Sandra Ariks

One brother and sister-in-law,

   Steve and Lenore Wilson

Funeral services will be 7 pm Thursday at Clear Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Elkins officiating.  Burial will be 11 am Friday in Clear Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Dobson, Steve Wilson, Chad Burk, Larry Hope, Earl Wright and Bobby Goforth.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at Clear Springs Baptist Church.
