TAMI L WRIGHT

Tami L. Wright, age 53, of Athens, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Parkwest Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Goins Wright and was preceded in death by her brothers; Ricky Wright and Rocky Wright step mother Betty Wright, Brother in law; Russell Tallent, and nephew Ryne Thornburg.  She was a former employee of E&E Manufacturing.  Tami enjoyed playing sports including basketball, and was coached by her father for many years playing softball.  Tami also loved spending time with her family and most importantly her grandchildren.  She attended God’s Storehouse of Blessings.

Her boyfriend; Drew Williams of Athens.

Daughters; Tiffany Barnes of Athens and Jade Williams of Etowah

Sons; Randy Evans and Jeremy Williams both of Athens.

Grandchildren; Hannah Marie Evans, Marcie Grace Evans, Christian Cooper, Ritchie Cooper, Zoey Cooper, Rylan Killebrew, and McKenna Killebrew.

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7 PM Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Leamon, Rev. Chasen Curtis, and Rev. Ashley Mew officiating.  Burial will be 11 AM Friday in Eastanallee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
