Anna Mae Richardson Byrum, age 84, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, At her home.
A lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Irene Richardson. She was preceded in death by a sister; Lorine Carroll and spouse Sonny, a brother; Tommy Richardson and spouse Maxine, Brother in laws; Bob Moon and Smokey Mooree.
Anna loved to cook, sew and collect coffee mugs, and was a member of Valley Road Baptist Church.
A daughter and son in law; Brenda and Ray Day of Decatur.
Two sons and daughters in law;
Rickie and Bertha Byrum of Athens.
Steve and Alice Byrum of Athens.
Former Spouse and current care giver; J.T Byrum of Athens.
Two Sisters; Kate Long Mooree of Sweetwater and Jean Foster Moon of Cleveland.
A Brother and Sister in law; Larry and Geraldine Richardson of Athens.
Grandchildren; Melissa Key, Tammy Roderick, Amy West, Heather Robbins (Josh),
Michael Byrum (Kim), Lisha Dugan (Scott), and Scott Corum.
Many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7 pm Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Walden officiating.
Graveside services will be 11 am Saturday in Wildwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Justin Roderick, Zach Roderick, Josh Robbins, Bryce Robbins, Tim Richardson, Sequoia Kilts, Jeremy Caylor and Greg Caylor.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
