Obituary
Burl C. “Harry” Harrison, 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a native of McMinn County and had recently moved back to Athens. Harry had retired from Mayfield and served in the U.S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawson Harrison, Sr., and Mary King Harrison and a son, Tim M. Harrison.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy D. Trowbridge Harrison of Athens, sons Alan B. and Denise Harrison of Marshall, Virginia and Bob and Debbie Harrison of Athens. He is also survived by a sister, Christine Riggins of Athens, and three grandchildren, Zakary Harrison, Tim Harrison, and Nicki Harrison.
