At Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville

A native of Ringgold, GA. and longtime resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late George Hobbs and  Mildred Ledford Hobbs  and was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Ray Ledford; brother, Ricky Hobbs; sister, Dena Hobbs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and was a former employee of McKeehan Chair Company.

Survivors include two daughters,

   Melissa Ledford of Etowah

   Devan Ledford of Etowah

Four grandchildren: Julie Partin, David Fairbanks, Dexter Goforth and Savannah Goforth

Three great grandchildren: Laynn Partin, Braylynn Partin and Xaylynn Partin

Three sisters,

   Debbie Cruz of Cleveland, OH.

   Jenny Hobbs of Cleveland, OH.

   Tammy Hobbs of Cleveland, OH.

Special niece,

   Jessica McCalpine of Cleveland, OH.

Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Friday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Greene, Brandon Sisson, David K. Fairbanks, David E. Fairbanks, Dexter Goforth and Nicholas Greene.

The family will receive friends 10-11:30 am Friday at the funeral home.
