Passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019

At her home.

Edna grew up in the Lamontville Community near Calhoun and was a longtime resident of Athens before moving to Charleston. She was the daughter of the late John B. Erwin Sr. and Sarah Crisp Erwin and was preceded in death by an infant child, Baby Vaughn; four brothers and five sisters. She was a former employee of Plastic Industries and most recently attended Hopewell Baptist Church in Cleveland.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, J. C.  Vaughn of Charleston

One daughter, Nancy Neil

One granddaughter, Tiffany Massengill and husband, Stacy

Five grandchildren: Nicholas Raper, Alicia Brumlow and husband, Nicholas, Hannah and Katie Raper, and Mychaela Rodriguez.

Great great grandchild, Gabriella Rodriguez “Layla” and one soon to be Baby Brumlow.

Three brothers, John Erwin Jr., Merritt Erwin, and Dean Erwin.

Funeral services will be 4 pm Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Rodgers officiating.  Burial will follow in Blevins Cemetery in Calhoun.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses on Edna Vaughn be made to Tiffany Massengill, 132 Glensara Dr. NW, Charleston, TN. 37310.
