Passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020

At Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga

A native and longtime resident of Knoxville and had lived in Ten Mile for several years. She was the daughter of the late James and Mary Russell Cole and was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Riggs; three sons, Jessie, Ronald and Tony Riggs; five sisters, Ruth Miller (her twin), Ruby Weaver, Betty Ward, Cathrien Beshires, and Margie Rayfield; one brother, David Cole.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Riggs

Four sons and one daughter-in-law,

   Gene Riggs, Michael Riggs, Leon Riggs and Donald and Connie Riggs

One brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Betty Ward

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephew

Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, February 2, 2020 in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Luminary Cemetery in Roane County.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
