Eva Hoback Obituary
Eva May Murray Hoback, age 93, of the Mt. Harmony community passed away Monday October 18, 2021, at her residence.
Eva was a native of Detroit, MI and resident of McMinn County since 1971. She was a daughter of the late Augustus and Ruby Smith Murray. She was also preceded by her husband Paul Jackson Hoback, sisters Maxine Homes and Shirley Rosal, and brothers Eugene “Sonny” Murray and Donny Murray.
Eva was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. She was a public service worked who worked with juveniles in Macomb County, MI and McMinn County. She also volunteered with Contact, Hospice and The Hope Center.
Eva is survived by
Daughter Evonne Hayes and husband Gary of Sweetwater;
Son Paul T Hoback of Atlanta;
Grandson Paul Justin Hoback;
Sisters Chris Palitti of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Pauline Navarre of Palm Bay, FL.
