GAIL DEANNE (DUGGAN) HESTER

Gail D. Duggan Hester, age 75, of Athens, went home to be with the lord on Saturday, August 17, 2019, At Tennova Healthcare.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Vola Howard Duggan and was preceded in death by a brother Wade Duggan, and sisters Margaret Torbett and Jerri Underwood.

She had retired from Walmart after 20 years and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years; Ronnie Hester of Athens.

Daughter and son in law; Rhonda and Mike Vincent of Athens.

A Step Grandson; Jacob Vincent.

A very special niece; Debbie Underwood Enermoser and husband Brian of Hempstead TX.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Monday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Pastor Matthew Herrell and Pastor Jack Scallions officiating.

A graveside service will be 11 AM Tuesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Winder, James Winder, Tony Hester, Lynn Spears, Eric Gilliam and James Carr.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Monday from at the funeral home.
