GEORGE BRYAN "CONNIE" LEE CROFTS

George Bryan “Connie” Lee Crofts, known to friends as “Connie”,

passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at the age of 70 years

at his residence.

A native of Athens, Connie lived with several friends at Sunrise Community in Knoxville since January 2000. Connie enjoyed joking with his circle of friends and his friend’s loved joking around with him. Connie’s smile and laugh always an enjoyable part of everyone’s day. He loved animals especially horses. He was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Crofts.

Connie was raised by his PaPaw Crofts, Aunt Flora and Aunt Judy.

He had a special relationship with his caregivers, especially “Granny Cheryl”. Connie will be missed by everyone at Sunrise Community.

A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be 11 am Friday in Hammonds Cemetery.
