Harold Gary Brinkman, age 79, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was originally from Damascus, Pennsylvania, and spent many years in northeastern Pennsylvania, primarily in Honesdale where he worked in the garment industry. Harold graduated from Narrowsburg Central High School in 1962, and later served in the United States Air Force. He moved to McMinn County in 1998. Harold owned and operated All Seasons Landscape Supplies until 2017 and continued to work there until his passing. He was a kind, simple, and generous man, who was always willing to help others. His co-workers and customers at All Seasons will certainly miss him.
He is preceded by his parents: Harry John and Laura Alice Buddenhagen Brinkman, along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Harold is survived by a sister: Judy Sliker (Pete) of Marathon, NY, nephews: Thomas Sliker (Franklin) of Oneonta, NY, and Brian Sliker (Kris) of Marathon, NY, two great-nieces, and four great-great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Harold will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Ziegler Funeral Home in Athens.
