Johnny Carl Yarbrough

Johnny Carl Yarbrough, age 70, lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife of 52 years, his children and grandchildren on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Johnny Oscar and Wilma “Jean” Puett Yarbrough, and an infant sister: Judy Kristin Yarbrough.

Johnny is survived by his wife: Debbie Kyker Yarbrough, daughters: Shannon Ramirez (Diego), Amy Meyer (Mike), son: Brad Yarbrough (Jessie), sister: Francie Wattenbarger (Mark), grandchildren: Angela Ramirez, Bryn Ramirez, Carlee Beheler, Hayden Yarbrough, and Fischer Yarbrough, and two nephews: Kevin Wattenbarger and Kyle Wattenbarger.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Van Elkins officiating. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at McMinn Memory Gardens.

Kevin Wattenbarger, Kyle Wattenbarger, Hayden Yarbrough, Fischer Yarbrough, Roger Leamon, and Shane Arnold will serve as pallbearers.
