MICHAEL JASON MORGAN

Michael Jason Morgan, Age 43, of Etowah, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens.

A native of Utica Kentucky, he was a resident of McMinn County for over 28 years.   He was the son of the late Joney Ray Morgan.

Michael was a former employee of Underground Technology.  He also worked in construction, as a roofer and a mechanic. One of his greatest accomplishments was having a book published titled “Tough Love:  Hard and Soft Sensitivity“.

Survivors include his mother, Marlene Farmer Morgan;

son Danny Ray Morgan;

sister Jennifer Morgan Roderick of Cleveland;

two brothers Marshall Ray Morgan and wife Sharla of Etowah and Jonathon Ray Morgan and wife Jenny Miller of Sweetwater;

several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 14,2020, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union-McMinn cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Home.
