Phyllis Ann Collins Raper, age 74, of Riceville, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at CHI Memorial in Chattanooga.

Phyllis was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and the daughter of the late Clyde Collins and Cathern Bradshaw Smith. She was preceded by her husband Thomas Raper and daughter Melissa Mitchell Youngblood.

Phyllis was of the Baptist Faith and a Registered Nurse. She retired from Starr Regional and Bradley Memorial (Sky Ridge) Hospitals.

Survivors include:

Son Chris Mitchell and wife Jade of Riceville;

Grandchildren DeKlan Mitchell, Chris Mitchell Jr., Aiden Mitchell and Chloe Mitchell;

Brother Marvin Collins and wife Lorrie of Athens;

Sister Shirley Martin of Belleview Florida.

At her request, there will not be any formal services.
