Passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018

At Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens

A native of Gilmer, TX. and longtime resident of Tellico Plains, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bessy Crow and was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Walter A. Hanson; 2nd husband, J.B. Childers; one sister and one brother. She was a former Real Estate agent.

Survivors include a daughter: Sherry Byrd

Two sons: Walter A. Hanson III and Michael R. Hanson

At Rachel’s request there will be no formal visitation or funeral service.
