Ross Ula Shelton

Age 55

Of Cleveland

Passed away Friday, February 2, 2018

At his home.

 

A native of Athens and longtime resident of Old Fort and Cleveland, he was the son of the late Franklin D. Shelton and was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Dee Shelton and Arnold Ray Shelton; sister, Kathy Self; former wife, Zulika Jewell Gray Shelton. He was a former employee of Con Agra, Shelton’s Poultry and most recently Jackson Mfg.

 

Survivors include his mother,

   Sara Jane Grandell Shelton of Cleveland

One son,

   Triston David Ross Shelton of Cleveland

Two sisters,

   Dorothy Shelton Lopez of Cleveland

   Shannon Denise Shelton of Cleveland

Two brothers and sisters-in-law,

   Jack Lee and Tracy Shelton of Cleveland

   Lester Howard and Elaine Shelton of Cleveland

Uncle,

   Garner Shelton of Athens

Step father,

   James Sutton of Cleveland

Former mother-in-law,

   Brenda Shephard of Cleveland

Several nieces and nephews

 

Graveside services will be 4:30 pm Tuesday in Buttram Cemetery with the Rev. David Thomas officiating.

 

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
