Ricky Lynn Burris

Ricky Lynn Burris, age 51, of Madisonville, TN,

Passed away Sunday June 28, 2020, At Erlanger Medical Center.

A native of Cleveland and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late George Henry Burris and Dorothy Jean Dockery Ammons. He was a member of Brookhill Baptist Church and had attended Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years; Marlene Sue Middleton Burris

2 Daughters and a son-in-law;

Shannon Paige Burris

Stephanie Marlana Hamblin and spouse Harold Dean Rollins III

2 Sons and daughter-in-laws;

Justin Lynn and Aaron Burris

Robert Matthew and Tonya Faye Hamblin

Sister and brother-in-law; Kim and Adam Locke

Brother and sister-in-law; James and Angela Burris

7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. James Burris and Pastor Scruggs officiating. A graveside service will follow in Cochran Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
