At his residence.

A native of Paint Rock and longtime resident of Niota, he was the son of the late Jake and Lula Hillard Clowers and was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Clowers, James Clowers, and Jerry Clowers; one sister, Lucy Moses.  

Survivors include a son, Arthur Sherwood of Niota

Two sisters,

   Shirley Thomas of Englewood

   Wilma Elrod of Chatsworth, GA.

Two brothers,

   Robert Clowers of Niota

   Doug Clowers of Copperhill

   Pauline Clowers of Englewood

Funeral services will be 3 pm Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Clowers officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ziegler Funeral Home, 521 W. Madison Ave. Athens, TN. 37303 to help with funeral expenses.
