Shelly Denise Lane Miller, age 48, of Riceville, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, while at UT Hospital in Knoxville.
She was born in Knoxville and was a longtime resident of Riceville. Shelly served as a pharmacy technician at Sweetwater Hospital for over 11 years and attended Faith Baptist Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her step father, Don Mooneyham of Athens and mother-in-law, Evelyn Longwith Miller of Riceville.
She is survived by her mother Roberta and Donnie Cable of Butler, her father, John and Sandy Lane of Knoxville
She also leaves her loving husband of 29 years, Byron Miller of Riceville
Daughter, Miranda and Ethan Wallace of Riceville
Three sons, Drew Miller and Karson, Trent Miller and Quentin Miller all of Riceville
Three grandchildren, Berkeley Wallace, Hattie Wallace and Ira Miller
Brother, Brad Lane and Susan of Athens
Sister, Jennifer Roberts and Eric of Farson, WY
Father-in-law, Ronnie Miller and Debbie of Riceville
Brother-in-law, Gene “Ronnie” Miller of Riceville
She had many other loved ones including nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and co- workers.
The family of Shelly Miller will receive friends, Friday, March 06, 2020, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm followed by the funeral service to celebrate the life of Shelly at 7:00 Friday, March 06, 2020, at Faith Baptist Tabernacle, located at 3115 Hwy 39 West, Athens, TN with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating.
Family and friends will gather at Faith Baptist Tabernacle church at 11:30 am Saturday, March 07, and proceed to Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood for a 12:30 pm graveside service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Ainsworth, David Wright, Matthew Norwood, Matthew Burke, Austin Walker, Mike Prock and Bryson Huckabey.
