Thomas "Jimmy" Chrisman Obituary

Thomas “Jimmy” Albert Chrisman, 79, native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at his home. Jimmy was a member of the Baptist faith and a truck driver for many years.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Sara Ballew Chrisman, and his stepmother, Ida Hester. He is also preceded by many brothers, sisters, and a great-grandson.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Lamb Chrisman of Decatur, daughters: Rebecca Dennis of Athens, Julia Powell of Athens, and Teresa Alexander of Athens, son: Bobby Chrisman (Lisa) of Englewood, stepbrothers: Freddy Hester (Parkie) of Athens, Jones Albert Hester of Athens, sister: Dell Ann White (Terry) of Athens, grandchildren: Kelly Land, Cody Chrisman and Vernon Perry, J.T. Alexander, Josh Alexander, and Ashlee Pillion. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
