Of Madisonville

Passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019

At his residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Monroe County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Madisonville.

Survivors include his father, Bill Jim Barr

His mother, Mary Anne Ellison - Barr - Yates

Two brothers, Michael Barr, Joseph Barr and wife Mia

Nephew, Bartley Barr

Niece, Emma Barr

Several aunts, uncles and cousins

Graveside services with military honors will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Hopewell Cemetery in Madisonville with the Rev. Rick Harris officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to organizations that support disabled veterans.
