At her residence.

 

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Edward and Dorothy Louise Ward Hiefnar. She enjoyed life to the fullest, loved dancing and loved her family.

 

Survivors include a daughter,

   Jennifer Watson of Birmingham, AL.

Three sons,

   John Higdon and wife, Amy of Athens

   Travis Higdon of Etowah

   Sam Higdon of Niota

Two grandchildren: Selena Watson and Rylan Watson

One sister,

   Kathy Hiefnar of Athens

One brother,

   Sam Richardson of Athens

 

Memorial services will be 7 pm Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home.

 

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the funeral expenses be made to Sam Higdon, 299 Co. Rd. 261, Niota, TN. 37826.
